Let’s Talk Doodles: Why I Love Them (And How We Keep Them Happy)

Doodles have totally stolen my heart and my grooming table. 😄They’re sweet, expressive, and basically living teddy bears. Every coat is unique, which keeps things fun… and yes, they do require a little extra care.
But here’s the truth, I don’t mind the work. I actually enjoy the brushing, shaping, and sculpting that goes into keeping them looking their best. It's part of the art, and part of the bond.
Grooming Is a Team Effort
I’m here to work with you, not just your dog. The best appointments happen when:
The dog feels safe and knows me
The coat is prepped (or I know what I’m walking into)
We all show up with good vibes and open communication
Whether your doodle comes in fluffy and brushed or matted and starting fresh...that’s okay. Every dog is different, and I meet them where they are.
Not Just a Groomer — A Partner
I’m not here to shame or lecture — I’m here to help. I love working with doodles, and I’m always happy to share tips, tools, and support to make grooming easier for everyone.
Because I don’t just want to groom your dog, I want to be part of their happy, healthy life. 🐾
Want to Help at Home?
You don’t have to become a professional groomer, but a few simple tools can make a big difference.Using a slicker brush, a good detangling spray, and brushing a few times a week keeps your doodle feeling good — and helps us keep their grooms beautiful, stress-free, and less dramatic.
Not sure what to use? I put all my favorites in The Coat Care Collection. These are the tools I trust and use in the salon every day.
